In 2012, Byron Ferguson was inducted into the "Legends of the Outdoors" Hall of Fame. And that's not all, in 2023, he was drafted into the National Archery Hall of Fame on the first ballot. Can you believe it?

But what's even more impressive is that Byron is the first archer from Alabama to receive such a prestigious recognition since the legendary Howard Hill. And here's something interesting, both these men are not only known for their worldwide fame, but also for designing and making their own bows. Talk about being unique!

Their shared secret? Neither of them could find a bow that met their demands, and so they took matters into their own hands. Because when you're shooting in front of millions of people or aiming at a big game, you need a bow that you can trust and rely on. These men refused to settle for anything average and demanded equipment that allowed them to make shots that others would consider impossible.

And when Byron was asked about his famous accuracy, he simply replied, "Give me my bow and if I can see it, I can hit it...and I have really good eyes." Looks like his exceptional skill and determination paid off!
