I contacted Byron Ferguson last May (2016) and ordered a custom made Hunter Elite. I don't order custom made bows very often (like never). So I was hoping this would be a bow that would be with me for the remainder of my life. I very much enjoyed my conversations with Byron and his wife during the ordering process. This is indeed a hand-made long bow with personal involvement by Byron himself in the building process. I paid the extra cost for a two-piece model and glad I did. Construction time was much less then I expected and the package arrived in excellent condition. As others have reported, this bow shoots like a dream; quiet; smooth; very light weight and Byron personally signed his name to it as well. This bow surpassed my expectations and having Byron construct this for me is something I am very proud of. Time will tell, but I believe Byron Ferguson will go down in the annals of archery as the Greatest Archery Shot of All Time!

This bow is AWESOME! It's light, has zero hand shock, very fast, very powerful, and when tuned with the right arrows for your style, DEAD ON accurate! Need I say more? Why not. This bow is custom made by the Ferguson Family. The quality is top notch and the bow is as forgiving as a Sunday Pastor! It's my favorite bow and I may actually purchase another. If you are an avid hunter who grinds it out in the deep woods for the long haul, this is the bow for you. The Hunter Elite is the perfect name for this bow.

This bow is wonderful. Byron and his wife answered all questions promptly. The bow arrived within a handful of days of the estimated date, and the bow was packaged very well. I give them 10/10 for customer service. Although the bow is 50@28, the local archery shop put it on their scale and it came in at 51 and change @28. For me, this is awesome as I hoped it would be a pound or so higher. The bow is beautiful. I have placed the brace height at the lowest point to begin tuning. My arrow is 400 spine, 29.5 inches, 50 grain insert, 20 grain additional weight, 150 grain point, 3x4" feathers with a 6" wrap. It weights 528 grains total. Without any tuning so far, this bows has no hand shock and it is so quiet I may not install any strings silencers. I give this bow 10/10 for price, looks, no hand shock and its quietness. I am beyond happy, and I am excited about the tuning process. I just had to give a review after only 12 shots on the day of receipt. Arizona early archery deer season begins on 8-21-21 and I cannot wait.
